Role and Responsibilities

Director, Advanced Air Mobility, New Markets

CAE's New Markets Group provides innovative training, engineering, and operational solutions for private and public entities worldwide. We exist to help train the next generation of pilots, maintainers, operators and air traffic service providers. We are the disruptors within CAE that think differently, outside of the box and adapt our solutions to meet our customer needs.

QUALIFICATION:

  • University degree preferably in International Trade, Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience.
  • Pilot license and flying experience a strong asset. Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of building a business strategy and inspire a team to follow.
  • Experience building a team is essential.
  • Knowledge of eVTOL market an asset.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and partnership opportunities with various parties.
  • Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills. Have presented to large groups and at international forums
  • High commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with middle and senior managers through to decision makers.
  • Proven success in prospecting and growing sales and business opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive, keen attitude & a strong competitive drive.
  • Client service oriented.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to deal with various projects and initiatives at the same time.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, driven work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills in English. Other languages an asset.
  • Experience in writing focused briefs, reports, business letters and business plans.

* Must possess strong analytical skills and financial acumen; uncovers process improvement/product opportunities.

* Critical thinker, able to make decisions and provide recommendations based on available information.

* Demonstrated big-picture and strategic thinking abilities; can manage through chaos.

MOBILITY

* Some international travel required.
