Role and Responsibilities:

We are seekingaSite Supervisorresponsible for ourRio Rancho, New Mexicoplants. Site Supervisors are responsible for all phases of operation for multiple onsite Nitrogen Generators servicing the Electronics Industry in Rio Rancho, NM, located just North of Albuquerque. The Site Supervisor will be required to understand all aspects of the sites' responsibilities including safe execution of plant operation, plant maintenance, process and operational troubleshooting, customer interface and communications with a specific focus on leadership and operating skills for these facilities.

These sites are currently operated and maintained by two site supervisors and a qualified local contractor as needed.This position is for 1 of 2 additional site supervisors to support the addition of two additional onsite plants. You will be trained by seasoned Operations Technicians and Process Engineers. These plants will have remote access including remote troubleshooting, remote operations, and alarm management while not on site. The 5 plants are located at the customer site, adjacent to each other on the back pad.

To be successful, you must be safety conscious, self-motivated, a good communicator and possess good organizational, operating, and mechanical aptitude, leaning toward instrumentation and electrical skills, coupled with wrenching-n-fitting abilities as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commitment to safety including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management.
  • A strong commitment to Environmental awareness and management, including reporting and compliance as required by the Customer and the NM Department of Ecology.
  • Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communications, interfacing with customers operations team and the Air Product support teams.
  • Completion of all administrative responsibilities for this site.
  • Support all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including on-call responsibilities. The on-call will be shared and coordinated by the Supervisors.
  • Safe execution of day-to-day operating and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating maintenance activities, managing some of the plant efficiency and plant projects.
  • Preventative Maintenance and Critical System Checks with outside support scheduled as needed.
  • Identifying maintenance concerns, developing, and implementing corrective/preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets.


Required Skills / Abilities:

  • A proven track record of success in EH&S and Quality
  • A self-starter with proven leadership abilities.
  • Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the complete execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental, maintenance and engineering standards.
  • Experience with operations in the field of air separation, fractional distillation processes.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are a plus to be successful in this position.
  • Ability to work well independently with equal ability to work very effectively as a team.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.


Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have experience working plant environment.
  • 3+ years of validated industrial experience including leadership preferred.
