About the role:
Provide product and customer facing support for assigned production-related systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Develops and executes scripts, utilities and associated test plans. Scripts may modify data that is not updateable via user interface.
  • May conduct code-level software analyses to identify root cause of bugs and/or system modifications as needed.
  • Interfaces with internal clients, vendors, managers, IT and Product Development to resolve problems.
  • Analyzes problem, documents and communicates resolution and conducts follow up. Escalates problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Assists in documenting current policies and procedures.
  • Assists in creating user access for a variety of different systems
  • Assists with client hosted systems onboarding.
  • Represents team on cross-functional teams for production, support and development activities.
  • Performs specialty production processing.
  • Learns, understands, implements testing solutions, network and security regulations.
  • Interacts with internal departments to deliver solutions.
  • Interprets and presents data and conclusions to management as needed.
  • Improve methodologies used in the job.

Other related duties include support queue monitoring required by customer contractual obligations which may include working 10:00 to 7:00pm, during daylight savings time change, on a team rotational basis.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: software quality control, systems analysis or system support preferred.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies
  • Knowledge of a wide range of interface design, development and debugging tools, techniques and methodologies
  • Knowledge of testing tools and quality control requirements
  • Knowledge of programming languages
  • Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries for data validation and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of company products and services
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high stress team environment
  • Ability to work independently and intuitive ability to prioritize assignments
  • Must be dependable and able to meet and fulfill obligations
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
  • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise with other resources
  • Must be highly flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and thorough in completing tasks
  • Willing to take on responsibilities and challenges

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $52,760.00 - $86,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
