Under limited supervision, manages all aspects of the integrated UNM Los Alamos campus of the University occupying multiple building. Oversees the supervision of a limited workforce engaged in activities associated with the operations, maintenance, and housekeeping of the component's various facilities. Plans, oversees, and coordinates the implementation of construction and capital improvement projects, and directly participates in overall facilities planning for the UNM Los Alamos campus. Serves as the primary 24/7 contact for the intrusion/security company and local law enforcement. Should be skilled in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and basic construction.
This position is NOT eligible for remote work.
High school diploma or GED; at least 10 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Project Skills,
Knowledge of Banner systems for budget management/reconciliation and other computer applications,
Experience creating and managing budgets,
Experience with Facility Management Work Order Applications,
Current NM drivers license in good standing.
