This role meets and assesses new patients, as well as administering treatment to and following up with existing patients.

Should be detail-oriented, patient, compassionate, and possess stellar interpersonal skills as they interact with all patients.

Experience in conducting and performing function test to assess lung capacity and capability.

Willingness to work directly with provider.

Experience in administering inhalants.

Experience in documenting care by updating charts and records.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.

Required Skills:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) current upon hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS/ENPC) within six (6) months of hire and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within six (6) months of hire.

New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association
certifications. Notwithstanding this 'grace period' for obtaining American Heart Association
certifications, employees are not excused from being current in any and all existing certifications
that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.

Licenses:

Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of NM.
